Question: 2000 mustang what size tire can i use with an 18 inch rim? what is the offset?

I am looking at some 18 inch rims, what tire size should i go with? it is a gt and lowered 1.5 ". also what is the lug pattern: 5 x ??

You can use 245-40-18 on all 4tires or you can go 245-40-18 front (265-40-18) or (275-40-18) back.... if you want a more though look rims have to be 18 "in 5 lug ( pattern 5.114 with an offset of 20 or 40
