Question: Can i put 15 inch tire and rims on my truck that has 18 inch tires now?

Well... it depends on what year truck you have?? the newer body styles (97 and up) smallest wheel is a 16 because 15's won't clear the brakes. So no, you can't 96 and before had 15's stock... so you could put them on fine. |

No you need to have whats on there now. you can pay a mechanic to do it they have to adjust for the tire difference. |

Yes, but your engine RPMs will go up because it will take more turns of the wheels to go the same distance. You'll need to have the computer adjusted, as well as the speedometer/ odometer. |

Stick with what you have, small tires means higher rpm, worse mpg, speedometer odometer trouble, abs trouble, maybe ecu failure from trying to correct the the problems, AND your truck will look odd. |

I don't think the 15 inch rims will fit over the brake calipers or in an older truck, over the brake shoes. Try a couple of 15 inch rims just to see if they will fit. RSVP. |
